CUT-OFF POINT

The cut-off mark is 50%.

 

Candidates with 50% and above are to collect their admission letters from Monday, 25th May to Tuesday, 30th June, 2026.

 

Admission letters will be available for collection as follows:

 

    Time:  (a)  10.00am  –  3.00pm  (Monday – Thursday)

             (b)  10.00am  – 12.30pm  (Fridays)

PROVISIONAL
ADMISSION INTO JS1 FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION

 

IMPORTANT
INFORMATION FOR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES

 

1.      The cut-off mark is 50%

2.      Candidates are to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of N15,000.00.
Payment should be made through our online payment portal by following the steps below:

a.    Log on to the ISI website (isi.ui.edu.ng) and click on MENU (it is to the right of the School logo). Then, select PAYMENT.

b.    Select NEW INTAKE.

c.     Enter your Form Number (it is on top of your application form) and click on SUBMIT.

d.    Your child’s DASHBOARD (with the full name as filled on the application form) will be displayed.

e.    Click on ACCEPTANCE FEE & click on SUBMIT (at the bottom of the page). The PAYMENT SUMMARY page will app ear (please note down the 16-digit RRR number below the candidate’s name), click on SUBMIT (at the bottom of the page).

f.     You will be directed to REMITA CHECKOUT page where you will select your preferred option of payment. Follow the step for your chosen option BUT DO NOT CLOSE THIS PAGE. If you chose BANK TRANSFER option, the ACCOUNT DETAILS that you will use to make payment on your Bank App will appear; copy the account number by clicking on the icon next to the number and minimise the Remita Checkout page. Then open your Bank App and paste the account number while paying on your Bank App. Once the payment is successful, please go back to the minimised page.

g.    Click on I’VE SENT THE MONEY and the PAYMENT SUCCESSFUL page will appear. Click on PRINT RECEIPT to generate ISI receiptwith school logo. If nothing appears, go back to the DASHBOARD, click on Menu (the 3 vertical lines on the left). Select CONFIRM PAYMENT and enter the 16-digit RRR number. Click on SUBMIT.

h. Print out the receipt.

 

NOTE:
If your payment option in (e) is bank branch, you will be given RRR (Remita
Retrieval Reference) which will be used to make payment at the bank. After
payment, go back to your dashboard, click on confirm payment, enter the RRR and click on submit. Confirm the payment and generate your receipt.

 

3.     Successful candidates are to proceed to the office of the Principal with the following:

i.       Receipt of the N15,000.00 acceptance fee paid;

ii.       A copy of the application form; and

     iii.      Original and photocopy of hospital birth certificate

4.     A clearance form would be issued by the Principal, after checking all 3 documents listed above.  Candidates would then proceed to the office of the Administrative Officer for registration.

5.     Candidates who scored 50% and above are to come for their admission letters as follows:

               Date:  Monday 25th May to Tuesday 30th June 2026

               Time:  (a)   10am – 3.00pm      (Monday – Thursday)

         (b)   10am – 12.30pm    (Friday)

6.     Candidates who indicated interest in boarding placement are to note that this is not automatic but dependent on availability of bedspaces in the hostels. 

7.     Members of staff of the University who are to pay ‘staff rate’ for their biological children are to produce the following, after payment of requisite fees:

i.    Original and photocopy (full page) of staff identity card.

ii.   Letter of Introduction from Head of Department attesting to your staff status.

iii.  Letter from Director, University Health Services (JAJA) attesting to the biological status of the child.

8.     The above items, with the Admission letter are to be tendered before the Principal, who would then confirm your status on the original copy of the Admission Letter.

9.     Thereafter, the Admission Letter and the evidence of payment of the school fees and other fees stated on the letter would be taken to the Accounts office where receipts would be issued.

10.   The deadline for the payment of school fees and other applicable fees shall be Tuesday, 30th of June, 2026.

Please note that late payment would not be accepted and would lead to the withdrawal of admission.
